Commercial Epoxy
Flooring in
Charlotte, NC
Industrial-grade epoxy flooring for restaurants, auto shops, gyms, warehouses, retail, and healthcare facilities across Charlotte. Volume pricing available. We work around your schedule.
Commercial Flooring That
Keeps Up with Your Business
Commercial floor coatings are held to a different standard than residential. Traffic volumes are higher. Chemical exposure is more frequent and more varied. Health code and safety compliance may be required. And downtime costs money — every day your floor is out of commission is a day you're not operating.
We approach commercial flooring with all of this in mind. We use commercial-grade 100% solids epoxy and polyaspartic systems — the same products used in airports, food processing facilities, and industrial plants. Not diluted consumer products applied at residential-spec thickness.
We schedule around your operating hours. We work nights and weekends. We phase large projects to keep sections of your facility open. And we use fast-cure polyaspartic systems when turnaround time is tight — most can be returned to service within 24 hours of topcoat application.
Charlotte's commercial real estate market is one of the fastest-growing in the Southeast. New warehouses, restaurant buildouts, gym openings, and retail fit-outs happen constantly across Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and the surrounding counties. We've been a preferred flooring contractor for commercial developers, property managers, and franchise operators in the Charlotte market since 2012.
Every commercial job starts with a site visit — not a phone quote. We assess the existing slab, identify contamination or damage, confirm code requirements, and spec the right system for the environment. You get a written proposal with a clear scope of work and a schedule that minimises your downtime.
Volume pricing applies to projects over 5,000 sq ft. Multi-location businesses and property managers can discuss preferred-contractor arrangements with standardised specs and priority scheduling.

Why Charlotte Businesses Choose Us
Commercial flooring contractors are not all equal. Here's what separates our commercial work from the competition.
Minimal downtime
Most commercial jobs are scheduled to work around your operating hours. Fast-cure polyaspartic systems can turn a floor around overnight.
Volume pricing
Projects over 5,000 sq ft qualify for volume rates. We regularly work with property managers and multi-location businesses.
Commercial-grade materials
We use the same 100% solids epoxy and polyaspartic systems installed in airports, hospitals, and industrial facilities — not residential-grade products.
Safety compliance
Anti-slip topcoats, OSHA-compliant safety markings, and aisle striping included where required. We work to your facility's safety spec.
Lifetime warranty
Commercial systems are backed by our lifetime warranty against peeling and delamination. We stand behind every commercial install.
Single point of contact
One crew, one project manager, one invoice. No subcontracting — we control the quality from prep to final inspection.
How We Handle Commercial Projects
From site assessment to final handover — built around your operating schedule.
Site Assessment & Scope
We assess the existing floor, identify contamination, measure the area, and discuss your operational schedule — when you can afford downtime, what areas need phased coating, and any special requirements like safety markings or chemical resistance specs.
Surface Preparation
Diamond grinding or shot blasting depending on the substrate and existing condition. For large commercial floors we use ride-on grinding equipment to maintain speed without sacrificing prep quality.
Crack & Joint Treatment
Control joints are routed, cleaned, and filled with semi-rigid epoxy filler. Expansion joints are treated separately to allow movement. All repairs are flush with the surrounding surface before coating begins.
System Application
Primer, base coat, and topcoat applied in sequence. For large areas we work in sections to maintain a wet edge and consistent finish. Fast-cure polyaspartic systems allow us to coat and topcoat the same day.
Safety Markings & Final Inspection
Aisle striping, safety zones, and equipment markings are applied once the base system has cured. Final walkthrough with the facility manager before we hand over.
What Our Commercial Clients Say
“Coated 8,000 sq ft of our distribution centre over a weekend. Crew was professional, worked through the night to hit our Monday morning reopening. Floor is perfect.”
“They did our restaurant kitchen and dining room — two different systems with a cove base in the kitchen. Health inspector commented positively on the floor condition at our next inspection.”
“Third facility we've had them coat. Consistent quality every time, competitive pricing on volume, and they work around our operating schedule without complaint.”
Common Questions
Have a commercial project in mind? Call us for a site visit — phone quotes aren't accurate enough for commercial work.
How much does commercial epoxy flooring cost in Charlotte?
Commercial epoxy flooring in Charlotte runs $2–$6 per square foot for standard warehouse and industrial systems. Decorative systems for retail and showrooms run $4–$8/sq ft. Speciality systems (kitchens, labs, anti-static) are quoted on a per-project basis. Volume pricing applies to projects over 5,000 sq ft.
How long does a commercial epoxy floor installation take?
Timeline depends entirely on square footage and system. A 2,000 sq ft restaurant kitchen typically takes 2–3 days. A 20,000 sq ft warehouse can be completed in 4–6 days with a full crew. We work nights and weekends to minimise impact on your operations. Fast-cure polyaspartic systems allow same-day return to service in many applications.
Can you coat floors in occupied commercial buildings?
Yes, and we do it regularly. We work in sections, containing work areas and maintaining clear access for staff. We use low-VOC systems where ventilation is limited, and fast-cure polyaspartic systems that reach zero odour quickly. Most commercial clients continue partial operations throughout the job.
Do commercial epoxy floors require maintenance?
Minimal. An auto-scrubber with neutral pH cleaner is all most commercial floors need daily. For high-traffic areas, a fresh topcoat every 5–7 years maintains the gloss and protection level. Kitchen floors benefit from quarterly degreaser treatment. We provide a maintenance guide with every commercial installation.
Can epoxy floors handle forklift traffic?
Yes — with the right system. Standard residential epoxy isn't rated for forklift loads. We install high-build commercial systems (100+ mil) with hardener-dense topcoats specifically designed for pneumatic and polyurethane forklift tyres. We specify the right system based on your equipment type and traffic frequency.
Do you offer aisle striping and safety markings?
Yes. OSHA-compliant safety markings, aisle striping, equipment zones, and pedestrian walkways are standard add-ons on warehouse and industrial projects. We use traffic-paint-grade epoxy for markings — not tape or painted lines that peel.
Do you work with property managers and multi-location businesses?
Yes. We have ongoing relationships with several Charlotte-area property managers and multi-site operators who use us for recurring work. Volume pricing, standardised specs, and a single point of contact across multiple locations. Contact us to discuss a preferred-contractor arrangement.
What is the minimum commercial project size?
Our minimum invoice for commercial work is $2,500. Most commercial projects are well above this — it applies mainly to small commercial spaces like a single office or small retail unit. There's no maximum size; we've completed projects over 50,000 sq ft in the Charlotte area.
